Q/ I work from home and I am a sole trader. Can you help me with any of your services?

Q/ We are a new start-up business. What kind of help could you offer us?

A/ The more you can get right in the early stages of forming your business, the better the chance your business will have of being successful. We find that most of our new business clients have strict budgets and want to make every penny count. Most choose to have some basic computer training and ask us for help and guidance for purchasing the right I.T. equipment.

Q/ We already have an arranagement with an "I.T. guy" who I call if things go wrong. Why would I consider using your services instead?

A/ Although we do offer an excellent On-site engineer service, our main focus would be to try and avoid your equipment breaking down in the first place. Our experience shows that by helping you to purchase the right equipment to do the job and having it serviced properly, you should find significant savings compared with just reacting to problems if they occur.

Furthermore, our helpdesk service allow us to resolve the majority of issues over the phone or via our secure "Remote Access" software. Our training services can really help you get the most from you technology and your staff. Finally, you can use our consultancy services to help with a whole range of things, from just to asking for help and advice through to planning office moves or business expansion plans.

Q/ We've had bad experiences in the past with I.T. consultants selling us solutions we didn't need? How can I be sure you won't be the same?

A/ We have spoken to many business owners who have had bad experiences with other providers and most of the problems they have experienced seem to boil down to two main issues, communication and cost.

Communication: Many have said that the consultants didn't fully understand what their business wanted to achieve from the consultancy or what the issues really were. Many also said that they found it difficult to understand some of the language and terminology used by the consultants.

Cost: They felt that the bad communication had lead to the total cost of the consultation going up because the whole thing took many more hours than originally planned. Many concluded that their previous consultations took much longer than planned and only achieved about half of what they wanted doing in the first place.

Our consultation process has a number of defined phases to try and overcome these issues. We believe that good consultants have to be good listeners, so the first phase is a simple meeting with us listening to you and asking some fact finding questions. The second phase is for us to issue you with a short report summarising how we have interpreted what you have said and offering you a range of choices we feel may be appropriate with estimated costings. The third phase will be to discuss what choices you would like to take up and agree the costings and timings. The fourth phase is where we deliver the choice(s) or solution(s) you have chosen and the final fifth phase is like a "sign-off" check to ensure everything has been completed satisfactorily.

Q/ Consultancy Services are normally very expensive. How much do you charge?

A/ Unlike most consultants, we do not have an hourly rate for our consultancy work.

Our project costs will be a percentage of the total value our work adds to your business. We insist on agreeing project costs with our clients before we start any work to stop you incurring any additional costs and encouraging us to complete the work for you as quickly as possible to the agreed standards. We also offer discounts to business who can pay quickly for our services (please ask for more details).

We believe any investment you make in your business should reap a reward and add value to your business, otherwise, why would you invest? We'll work hard to make sure your money gives you the best possible outcomes available.
